Configuring your iAPRS for use.

The iAPRS 'Configuration' page is where settings that are transmitted to the outside world are placed.

You need to set your OpenAPRS username, shown above on the config page, which is the same as the email address you used when signing up for your OpenAPRS account.

You also need to set your OpenAPRS password in the field immediately below the username field.

In addition, if you have a ham radio license, you should enter your callsign in the Callsign field.

If you have a preference for the SSID (short for 'supplemental system identifier', a number from 1 through 15).

There is a slider control to allow you to select from one of a choice of small icons that typically are displayed along with your callsign in APRS mapping programs.

Make certain to hit the SAVE SETTINGS button when you are done so that iAPRS is properly setup. If you neglect to hit the save settings button, your changes are discarded and the previous settings are still in place.
